What It Does
The tuner listens through your device's microphone and tells you if you're sharp, flat, or perfectly in tune. Simple as that.
How to Use It
- Open any song
- Click the toolbox icon
- Select Tuner
- Allow microphone access when prompted
- Play a string and watch the tuner respond
The tuner shows you which note you're playing and whether you need to tune up or down.
Reading the Tuner
The needle or indicator shows:
- Center/Green: You're in tune!
- Left: You're flat - tighten the string
- Right: You're sharp - loosen the string
The note name displays at the top so you know which string you're tuning.
Tips for Better Tuning
Get close to the mic - The closer your guitar is to your device's microphone, the better it picks up the sound.
Tune one string at a time - Mute the other strings or play just the one you're tuning.
Quiet environment helps - Background noise can confuse the tuner.
Use harmonics for precision - Advanced tuners often use harmonic tones for more accurate tuning.

Troubleshooting
Tuner not responding?

- Make sure your device volume is up
- Try refreshing the page
- Play the string louder
Wrong note showing?
- You might be an octave off
- Play the string more clearly
- Reduce background noise
Tuner keeps jumping around?
- Your string might be very out of tune
- Other sounds might be interfering
- Try a quieter location
Moving & Minimizing

- Drag it anywhere on screen
- Close it when you're done
- Reopen it anytime from the toolbox
